Sikkim: 4 more COVID-19 positive cases

Sikkim reported four more cases of COVID-19 on Saturday evening, taking the total tally to seven in the state, reports East Mojo.

Of the four new patients, one is a nephew of the second positive case. He is a Delhi returnee and was stayinngg in the Mining quarantine facility. He had since been shifted to Farmer's Hostel quarantine facility in Sokeythang near STNM Hospital. However, since he was in contact with 27 others, all their samples will be tested on Sunday.
The patient is a 21-year old youth from Namdok in East Sikkim.
The second new case is a Maharashtra returnee, identified as a 22-year-old male, who was a contact of the third positive patient of Sikkim. He had mild fever and seemed symtomatic. He was previously taking treatment for typhoid in Mumbai, and the same has been ruled out by STNM so far and taken as COVID positive.
