SJC Dimapur observes ‘World Photography Day’

St. John College (SJC) Dimapur celebrated the “World Photography Day” at its college premises, wherein Photography Club organised an exhibition on August 19.

A press release from SJC Dimapur stated that, the exhibition comprised of an array of photographs portraying serene and pristine nature, the unadulterated, pollution free vegetation, and the culture and customs of people of Nagaland among others.

Exhibition also portrayed a series of inspiring and motivational photographs reflecting the inner psyche of the photographers. 

The collection included some personally photographed by college principal professor, Janetius, along with those submitted by budding photographers belonging to the Photography Club.

The exhibition also displayed posters throwing light on the significance of photography, its origin, advantages, uses, quick facts and above all the emotional, mental and financial gains of choosing photography as a prospective career option for an individual.  

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
