Japfu Christian College (JCC), Kigwema in collaboration with Pro Vision India organised skill development programme on May 9 to create and nurture emerging skills to the student fraternity.

Dr. Visakhonu Hibo, principal JCC, reminded the students that education without some acquired skills was incomplete. Paul C. Dass, Founder Director of Pro Vision India was the resource person for the programme. He was the first physiotherapist of India and also the first official Indian cricket team physiotherapist. Equipped with more then 500 income generating skills, he teaches others in generating income and how to become self-reliant.

Reassuring the students to be more productive, Dass demonstrated fabric painting on cotton and synthetic materials using spray/dripping method. Blow paintings were also demonstrated. He was assisted by Rokotsinuo from CIHSR, Dimapur.

It was an enriching and inspiring learning experience, said Mavahrù Kemas, the media in-charge through a press communiqué.
