Skill training on food processing concludes

Skill training on food processing was conducted in Darogajan village with the women of Darogajan village on May 20. 

Secretary and managing director of Toka Multi Purpose Society, Kathi Chishi graced the programme as special guest. A press release from project officer, Faihamti Longmaialai stated that, Kathi urged the trainees to start up small and to be an entrepreneur acknowledging the resources available in one’s locality. He also extended his support in terms of seed money for the budding entrepreneurs.  In the programme, Albert Gangte, branch manager, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) also spoke on how one can be successful by following one’s own passion and taking the learned skills to the next level of progress.

Village council chairman, Vitokhu Achumi and head G.B, Projeshwar Langthasa of Darogajan village also attended the training on food processing organized by CAN Youth & sponsored by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).  Council chairman also encouraged mothers to take care of their drop-out children and involve them in various skill trainings. 

Kivitoli Chishi, secretary, CAN Youth urged the women not to let the skill training go waste. The trainees were awarded a completion certificate based on their dedication and regularity.
