SKK backs ENSF demand for B.Ed colleges

All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) has extended support to the Eastern Naga Students’ Union (ENSF)’s demand from the state government to introduce B.Ed colleges in Eastern Nagaland.

In a press release, SKK president Atokiho Sumi and general secretary Hutoshe Kits said ENSF’s demand was “genuine” as it was for the welfare of students from far flung areas. SKK maintained that the demand, which should be been fulfilled long ago, was neglected by the department for so long.
The apex Sumi student body has, therefore, appealed to the state government to intervene and address the demand without further delay. SKK also appealed to the responsible minister and the state government to tackle the situation with utmost care and deliver justice without further delay.
