Special financial inclusion mela conducted

Cluster wise special financial inclusion mela for Chukitong area under block mission management unit (BMMU) RD block Chukitong was conducted under the aegis of Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) here at GHSS Chukitong chapel hall where 57 women SHGs from the area participated on Saturday. 
Resource persons Nzano, GNM, Chukitong PHC enlightened the gathering on AB-PMJAY and other related schemes of the Medical department; Zubemo, senior supervisor, on ICDS, THR, PMMVY and other related schemes of the Social Welfare department; Tsenlumi Murry, BDO-cum-BMM RD Chukitong on MGNREGA; and Neibounuo Suokhrie, branch manager, NRB Wokha on individual account opening and loan form fillings.
Also speaking on the occasion, Samuel Kithan, ADPM, NSRLM Wokha urged the women SHGs to keep in mind the awareness on various schemes of various departments disseminated to them at the mela and also to work earnestly for the benefit of all members. 
Earlier, invocation was said by Shancholo Ezung, village facilitator, Chukitong; keynote address was delivered by Janthungbemo N. Ezung, block programme manager, NSRLM BMMU RD block Chukitong; overview of NRLM was dwelt at length by Chonbemo, NSRLM area coordinator-F1, BMMU Chukitong block; presentation was done by Helen Yanthan, NSRLM block accountant, BMMU Chukitong; vote of thanks was proposed by Mhaden Humtsoe, AC (Livelihoods), NSRLM BMMU Chukitong block and benediction pronounced by mass at the programme chaired by R. Nzanbeni, area coordinator SISD, NSRLM BMMU, Chukitong block. 
Sekruzu block: Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) under the department of Rural Development, Sekruzu Block organized two-day financial mela in convergence with various line departments on January 29 and 30 at Chozuba town and Sekruzu block. 
A press release from NRLM Sekruzu block stated that block programme manager, Besuvoto Veswuh, highlighted the NRLM vision, various activities, progress report and annual action plan for the last FY 2018-19 and 2020-21 during the programme. He stated that Sekruzu block has 14 villages, a total number of 272 SHGs with a total strength of 2701 women SHG member. 
Resource person from the administrative department, Social Welfare, Medical, Agriculture and State Bank India (SBI) attended the programme and shared the various beneficiaries and schemes available for the rural people. 
BDO & BMM, RD block Sekruzu, Japra Swuro in his keynote address encouraged the women SHG members the importance of management, savings, and MGNREGA schemes. EAC Chozuba, Obangnener Jamir talked on the social harmony and law and order, he also highlighted the importance and meaning of convergence department, while SDAO Thepusa shared about the PM Kisan schemes, and various other ongoing projects and schemes. 
Benefits of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB – PMJAY), health card was shared by Dr. Kotso Kapfo, medical officer CHC, Chozuba. VekhotoTetse-o, child development project officer (CDPO) Chozuba talked about the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) and distributed PMMVY forms to the pregnant women.
SBI Chozuba, branch manager, BikashMajhi, encouraged the importance of bank linkages, timely repayment of loans, saving bank deposit, opening accounts, Aadhar seeding, KYC and bank loans. 
He assisted with his staff in opening accounts for the SHG’s members. 
Altogether more than 600 participants including block staffs, women SHG members, village stake-holders, women activists attended the programme.
