SPO demands timely completion of NH-29

Secheku Public Organisation (SPO) has appealed to the competent authority to extend “fair and unbiased properties and damage compensation” to the affected land owners as per DPR and latest schedule of rates.

A press release by SPO president Vekhosa Ruho and joint secretary, Shiekhoto Resuh stated that, this was resolved at an emergency consultative meeting in regard to 2-lane (SARDP-NE) Kohima-Jessami road held on September 21 at Mesulumi Baptist Church conference hall. Meeting resolved to bury differences and extend cooperation to the district administration for the smooth progress, quality workmanship and timely completion of the ongoing mega project in its jurisdiction. The meeting was attended by representatives of SPO constituent villages from Chizami Range Public Organisation (CRPO), Razeba Public Organisation (RPO), Centre Chakhesang Public Organisation, Village Council chairmen and NH-29 2-Lane Affected Land Owners Committee, Sechuku Area (NH-29 TLALOCSA) headed by convenor Zechete Mekrisuh and the district level verification committee head by sub-divisional officer (C) Pfutsero Thungbemo Patton in presence of Kezheyi Khalo, MLA of 17th Chizami A/C and Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) headed by president Mikha Kenye.
