SRC, NNC condolence

Shepoumaramth Regional Council (SRC), Naga National Council (NNC) president, K. Michuhrü Aru, on behalf of himself and the SRC, has expressed deep grief and shock at the untimely demise of Kavei on March 23 at his native home of Kapaomai village, Shepoumaramth region, Nagaland.

In a condolence message, SRC, NNC president K. Michuhrü Aru described late Kavei as a true patriot who had been imprisoned twice in Indian jails but continued unflinchingly in serving the nation. The message stated that Kavei, son of Punü joined the NNC/FGN on October 20, 1964 and served the nation till his death at 78 years. Lamenting the untimely death as an irreparable loss for the nation and community, the SRC, NNC added that his true sacrifice and patriotic service rendered to the nation will always remain alive in the history of the nation. 

SRC, NNC conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that God grant eternal rest to the departed soul.
