SRG-ILA training conducted in Kohima
Officials from Social Welfare department, SPMU along master trainers from Delhi.

Two-day training of “state resource group-incremental learning approach” (SRG-ILA) was organised by department of Social Welfare with the support from state project management unit (SPMU) of Poshan Abhiyaan at Hotel Vivor, Kohima from November 14 to 15, led by two master trainers from Delhi.

A press release from SPMU stated that, training was attended by the members of state resource groups qand covered several important topics, especially on “How to feed when a child is sick and take care of weak newborn baby with the help of intensive mother care and also supporting mother’s with issues in breastfeeding.”

Training was also attended by the project director, 4 consultants and 2 project associate from SPMU and nodal officer from the department of Social Welfare.
