SSW launching to be finalized

The official launching of Salesians in the Secular World (SSW) movement in Nagaland will be finalized on July 13.  The decision was taken at the first meeting of the  group of former Salesians (Don Bosco) members and trainees held at AIDA conference hall, Dimapur on July 6.  

A press release from SSW convener, Joe Ngamkhuchung stated that, the members also deliberated for participation in the SSW national summit to be held in Bangalore in August 2019, and to participate in the welcoming of the rector major (Global Head of Don Bosco Society) visit to  Don Bosco institutions in Nagaland in September 2019 and to facilitate SSW movement in Manipur and Arunachal.  
During the meeting, Mark Lanthou, was selected as president, PA Thomas, as secretary and David Humtsoe as finance secretary.  
Joe Ngamkhuchung and PA Thomas were selected to represent Nagaland SSW at the National Summit on August 10 and 11 at Bangalore. 
Earlier, PA Thomas opened the session with a prayer and Raphael Yanthan said the closing blessing.
