State BJP announces MYNEP competition for citizens

State BJP has announced Vidya Bharati #MYNEP competition in Nagaland, an NEP-themed online contest which is part of the national wide awareness campaign on the National Education Policy (NEP) and will kick start on September 11. The campaign in the state will be initiated by BJP Minority Morcha Nagaland. 

A press conference was held in Kohima, where state BJP secretary Lanuakum O addressing the media person said they have set a target of 1 lakh participants from Nagaland for the campaign.

While state BJP co-chief spokesperson Nini Cheng said Nagaland was invited to participate in the NEP campaign as per the directive from the BJP’s headquarters, the BJP at all level will be initiating programme, competitions and events starting from September 11. She therefore invited every school, colleges, institution and citizens from Nagaland to take part under the theme Bharat-centric education, holistic education, knowledge-based society and quality education.

The competition will be conducted in three categories for class 9-12 students, undergraduate and postgraduate and citizen category. A web portal will be launched under starting from September 11 for the participants to register themselves.

The competition includes two-minute speech, meme-making, handmade poster, letters to the PM, essay writing, short film making, digital poster making etc. An interactive quiz will be held on September 24 on the various facets of the NEP. The winners will also be awarded with cash prize and certificates for each category. The results will be declared on October 5th.

Meanwhile, in celebration of the 70th birthday (September 17) of the PM Narendra Modi, various programmes will be organised during the Sewa Saptah (service week) from September 14 to 20. State BJP will be presenting artificial limbs and equipments to 70 differently abled persons in every constituency, presentation of spectacles to 70 needy people, distribution of fruits in 70 hospital and colonies, blood donation camp in every district, plantation of tree saplings, cleanliness drives and virtual conferences on the life and mission of the Prime Minister will be organised through webinars.

While programmes regarding the life and mission of Pt. Deendayal will be organised through webinars in every district, effective campaign up to the booth level will be organised to take down the Rs 20 lakh crore Atma Nirbhar Bharat Package announced by PM to the common masses so that they are apprised and benefited from this scheme.
