State quarterly review meeting on IDSP

State quarterly review meeting of Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) was held on June 27, at the IDSP conference hall, IMDH Mokokchung.

A report from DPMU stated that, the meeting was attended by representatives from all the 11 districts and district wise power point presentations were given followed by discussion. 
 Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme  is a decentralized, state based surveillance project in the country with an aim to detect early warning signals of impending outbreaks and help initiate an effective response in a timely manner.
A short speech was delivered by Dr. Chubala Aier, Chief Medical Officer,  Mokokchung, where she welcomed the participants and encouraged them to work sincerely. 
She also congratulated and thanked Dr. Nyanthung Kikon SNO,  Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme   for successfully conducting the programme in Mokokchung. 
Dr. Kibangkumba Dy. Chief Medical Officer advised the participants to be careful in collation, compilation and dissemination of data.
Dr. Nyanthung Kikon delivered the welcome address and the meeting ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Akhumtemjen, epidemiologist.
