Story telling session on traditional way of communicating under the theme, “Peace building through dialogue” was organised by Peace Channel for Peren Peoples Forum for Peace (PPFP) at Rezeu residency guest house on March 6 at Peren town.

A press release from Peace Channel stated that, resource persons were three members from PPFP, namely Namsi 80 years, Pauhiale 76 years and Pauciamle 63 years from Puilwa village, who enlightened the small group by demonstrating poetry and human stories using songs as a medium to communicate with one another in the olden days.
Vitono Haralu, Peace Channel project coordinator facilitated the forum by sharing the concept of People’s Forum where likeminded individuals from all walks of life come together to share their experiences and build a space for thinking. She added that this helps in building a community of understanding and resilience towards issues impacting the society by working on personal change and behavioural attitude that has long term benefits for all.
Some of the participants also shared their learning, while pastor Haiku Nza blessed the forum with a prayer and expressed how individual experience sharing can work more effectively and can solve many issues. Total 10 members participated and Hungngaule was the translator for the day.
