Students of Nagaland University Kohima campus awareness rally

Nagaland University Kohima Campus went on an awareness rally from Nagaland University Kohima campus, Meriema to destination Razhü Point from High School Junction spreading the message of banning plastic use and replacing it with paper bags or biodegradable bags targeting Friday Market with the theme “Friday for Future” on October 11.

A press release from NU Kohima campus information and publicity secretary, A Lothungbeni Ovung stated that, the rally was taken out with plastic free activist Gade Ramana Reddy, Guntur Cyclist who had travelled 4500 km in just 25 days covering 9 states under “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” and “Reduce single use plastic and ban (by 2022)”. 
The rally was successful with cooperation from the students of Nagaland University, Kohima campus who has a common vision to create plastic free state.
