Considering the pathetic condition of the road (under PWD) from Chuchuyimpang village gate to Fazl Ali College, which had been lying unattended by the concerned department for the past many years, Chuchuyimpang Students’ Union (CSU) initiated a major drive to repair the road.

Speaking to media persons, president of CSU, Kilangzulu said that the CSU could no longer bear to witness the woes of daily fellow travellers, especially students and faculty of Fazl Ali College.

He said waiting for the government to do something would be in vain and so they decided to carry out the herculean task of pothole filling, road widening, digging drainage and later blacktopping, themselves.

Kilangzulu added that since beginning the initiative, financial support has been pouring in from the village council, the Church and well wishers, especially the proprietor of Mongoya Construction, Sanen Sempo, who has been providing construction machineries and tools for free, and has promised to put these things at their disposal till completion of their project.

All other expenses will be borne by the union.
