Team from Nagaland undergo training for trainers in Sikkim

A five-day Multi Skill Foundation Course (MSFC) Training for Trainers (ToT) from Nagaland and Sikkim is in progress at Modern School, Gangtok, Sikkim from July 16 to 20.
A press release issued by YouthNet stated that MSFC, a vocational course under Skill India Mission, is in compliance with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and implemented in secondary and higher secondary government schools.
It stated that a pilot program in collaboration with department of School Education, government of Nagaland and Lend-A-Hand India has been implemented in four schools in Nagaland: T.M. Government Higher Secondary School Krulezou, Dr. Neilhouzhu Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima, Government Higher Secondary School Diphupar A and Government Higher Secondary School Purana Bazaar, Dimapur.
Lend-A-Hand India has partnered with YouthNet as vocational training partners to facilitate implementation of the program in the schools. The program focuses on the “learning by doing” concept for school students to give hands on experiences in skills.
