Technical Education deptt. notifies institutes

The Directorate of Technical Education has notified all the training institutes/centers running computer software/hardware courses & all IT related courses, that if any of them are found awarding diploma certificates without the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, and with training duration less than three years, they shall not be granted further extension to run the institute and the certificates from such institutes shall be treated as fake.
The directorate, through DIPR, stated that training programs with a duration of less than three years can use the name “Certificate Course” and not “Diploma”.
