Temjen Imna holds meeting with BJP Wokha

Temjen Imna Along, who is also the president of BJP Nagaland, held a meeting on July 30 at BJP office Wokha district and exhorted all the party rank and file to make all efforts to strengthen the party from the top to the grass root level. 

A press release from BJP Wokha president, Meribemo Kinghen and district media secretary in-charge BJP Wokha, Cyrus James Tungoe stated that the minister reminded them that they all had chosen to become a politicians so they should not expect high posts at once and fulfil their present stations with sincerity, hard work, dedication and integrity. He said that once the BJP party was not favoured by many saying it was a Hindu RSS party but now people were eying to grab power by holding the important posts. Along however maintained that only the capable and seasoned leader could reach the top post.  He also encouraged the gathering to build up the habit of going to church and to pray more. “As a Christian BJP it is the responsibility of every one of us here to project the image of the BJP as normal as many political party we have in a Christian state like us. So that together we work for peace and unity and let people know the love of God through our lifestyle, good work and our integrity”, the press release quoted him as saying. 

BJP organising secretary, Anand Narayan Mishraji, and Kisan Cell president, Senkathung Jami, also delivered short speeches. The program was chaired by BJP Wokha president, Meribemo Kinghen while vote of thanks was delivered by M James Tungoe.
