Tetso College 24th Fresher’s Day: Salvete 2018 underway on July 16.

Tetso College has launched Nagaland’s first college app during its 24th Fresher’s Day celebration “Salvete 2018” on July 16. The app was developed in-house and is available for download on the android Google Playstore. It will be available for download for apple users next week. The app can be used by parents, students or people who want more information to keep track of college news, pay fees online and more. 
The freshers meet, organized by the newly elected Tetso Student Council (TSC) with monetary collection from students, was graced by vice chancellor of Nagaland University, professor Pradeshi Lal as the guest of honor. 
According to college director administration, Kvulo Lorin on the occasion scholarships was awarded to 67 students. Governor of Nagaland’s Dr. T Ao Scholarship Award was also announced at the program. 
Professor Pradeshi Lal in his keynote address discussed the importance of education and advised the students to not aim only for the academic gold medal but to participate in extracurricular activities and get involved in sports. 
Kvulo Lorin stated that 600 students from all districts of Nagaland, out of which 6 toppers from the NBSE top ten list had joined Tetso College.
Earlier, the principal of Tetso College welcomed fresher’s into the Tetso family.  
The felicitation and awards was presided by Mhabeni Tungoe, dean of Tetso College and hosted by Khyochamo Yanthan of 5th Semester and Josaingdi Khemprai of 3rd semester. Students also showcased their talents, including a surprise performance by the band ‘Colored Keys’.
