TGKD celebrates 25th anniversary in Dimapur

Tsütoho Ghami Küqhakulu Dimapur (TGKD) celebrated its 25th anniversary (1995-2020), with minister of Agriculture and Cooperation G. Kaito Aye, as guest of honour on November 26. 

A press release by TGKD stated that, Aye inaugurated the resting shed, which was constructed and donated by TGKD at District Hospital Dimapur in commemoration with its jubilee celebration. 
He exhorted the gathering that included TGKD members, medical superintendent, doctors and nurses of DHD and lauded the TGKD for taking up the noble venture for the benefit of the people. 
He also encouraged the gathering to contribute towards the society and hailed the medical fraternity for rendering their selfless service to patients during COVID-19 pandemic situation. 
MS, DHD, Dr. Keveduyi Theyo expressed profound gratitude to the members of TGKD and expressed hope that the resting shed would be a place where people find peace and hope. 
DSBC senior pastor, Rev. S. Vitoshe Swu offered the dedicatory prayer while the inaugural programme was moderated by Jolly G. Jimomi. 
Later, at Sughuna, the celebration showcased cultural display by TGKK, folk songs, contemporary songs by Kalivi Awomi and Lituna Assumi. Programme started with invocation by Hewoto I Jakhalu, pastor, Sughuna Baptist Church while Vino Hesso, associate pastor, Women Tsutoho Baptist Church released the souvenir. Short speeches were delivered by Shikuto Yeptho, founder president, TGKD and S. Kavito Awomi, assistant director, Food and Civil Supplies while vote of thanks was pronounced by Tokugha Yeptho. 
The programme was chaired by Shikiho Yeptho, president TGKD and recorded by Kahoshe Tuccu, gen. secy, TGKD. Benediction was pronounced by Avitoli K. Awomi, associate pastor, children, Valley View Baptist Church.
