TGOUN conducts seminar on  ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’

The Global Open University Nagaland (TGOUN) in coordination with   office of the regional director of India Tourism, North Eastern Region of India organized a seminar on the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat on the University campus on February 12. 

A press release from TGOUN stated that, Dr. H. N. Dutta, vice-chancellor and Meera Rani  Das, tourist information officer, from the regional office of India Tourism, Guwahati, explained the meaning and significance of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat and spoke on the occasion. Ruvisie Poji, tourist officer, department of Tourism, Nagaland, all the officials, students, faculties were present on the occasion along with nearby villagers from the Sodzulhou and the 7th Mile villages. 

On the same day, online tourist facilitator certificate programme launched by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, New Delhi was organized. 

An introductory note of the programme was delivered by Meera Rani Das and the detail of the tourist facilitator certificate programme was explained through powerpoint by faculty Shah Alom of Hotel Management, TGOUN.
