TGOUN holds academic council meeting

The Global Open University Nagaland (TGOUN) held its academic council meeting on June 29, at the university campus, Dimapur.
In a press release, TGOUN public relations officer, Nchum Ovung stated that members of the academic council deliberated on the progress and development of academic issues pertaining to the University. 
The council discussed the implementation of new programs and recommended introduction of new courses such as B. Voc, M. Voc in the field of geriatric care, yoga, naturopathy, retail management, tourism, food processing, carpentry/mechanical tools, integrated LLB, B.Ed and Acupuncture.
The council also thoroughly looked at avenues to improvise upon the current academic programs.
The meeting was chaired by TGOUN vice chancellor Dr. H. N Dutta.
