Thousands of believers from different communities and denominations attended the ongoing “Sümi Healing Festival” organised by Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (WSBAK) Saturday at NER Agri Expo, Dimapur.

The “healing festival” being held under the theme, “Heal us O Lord” is being attended by many believers, both young and old, seeking healing miracles and blessings.

Speaker of the morning service, Pastor Kanchan Mittal, shared her life testimony as a young girl who grew up in a non-Christian family and society.

Pastor Kanchan, who now runs Kanchan Mittal Ministry, said she accepted Christ as her saviour at an early age of four and since then God has been using her to manifest His work.

Pastor Kanchan, who is on her maiden visit to Nagaland, said God wants Nagas to be true believers and not just mere Christians who follows Christianity as a religion.

She also assured the congregation that many of them would receive God’s blessings through this “healing festival”.

The morning service was chaired by DoWM promoter, Holika Sumi and the songs was led by members from Unity Village Sümi Baptist Church. Special numbers were presented by Lhomithi Village Baptist Church, Nagagenous and Spring Voice and offertory prayer was said by Toluvi GBA Pastor Atoshe Awomi.

The evening service speaker was Pastor Ed. Citronelli of World Healing International Ministries (WHIM), New York (USA). The service was chaired by DoCMM secretary, Hojevi Kappo and the songs was led by members of Thilixu Village Baptist Church.

Special numbers were presented by Ikishe Baptist Church, Thahekhu Village Baptist Church and Spring Vouce and offertory prayer by SBA Naga United Village Pastor Khehoyi Assumi.
