Three apprehended for stealing cash in Kiphire

Assam Rifles on Sunday apprehended three non-Nagas and recovered Rs. 3,60,000 from their possessions, which was allegedly robbed from their house owner in Kiphire. 
According to SDPO Kiphire, the three identified as Sanjoy Ojha, Sikandar Ojha and Iqbal Hussain from Hojai, Assam were trying to flee to Dimapur with the stolen cash but were apprehended by 7th Assam Rifles from Pungro junction. 
They were handed over to Kiphire police station  
Police said that three had visited Kiphire on the pretext of selling ayurvedic products in Kiphire town.  In this connection, a case has been registered and under investigation. Meanwhile, Kiphire police has issued an advisory, cautioning the public to remain guarded.
