Three-day “Sümi Healing Festival” organised by Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (WSBAK) under the theme, “Heal us O Lord” culminated Sunday here at NER Agri Expo Site, Dimapur.

Thousands of believers, both young and old, from different communities and denominations attended the three days festival seeking healing and blessings.

Pastor Ed Citronnelli of World Healing International Ministries (WHIM), New York (USA) was the main speaker. Earlier, Pastor Kanchan Mittal of Kanchan Mittal Ministry also delivered a sermon on the second day (November 16) of the “healing festival”.

The Sunday morning service witnessed a mammoth turnout, the festival hall with 12,000 sitting capacity was packed. However, this did not dampen the spirit of those seeking blessings and many believers sat/stood on the ground and attended the powerful service.

Speaker, Pastor Ed Citronnelli along with his team and others sang praises and worship songs before his sermon. He then called out the youths to the front and prayed for them.

Pastor Citronnelli, who was moved to see hundreds of youths at the “healing festival”, said Naga youths are the future of Nagaland and India and that they will “shake this nation” through Jesus.

He prophesied that people from Nagaland will become leaders of the nation and that many Naga youths will hold important positions in the country.

Pastor Citronnelli challenged the youths to confront the evil. He said through Jesus Christ the youths shall rise and slay the evil like David defeated Goliath.

The speaker also spoke about “river of God” which brings “healing” everywhere it goes. He said this river has come to Nagaland and that God would further bring the “river of revival and healing”.

Earlier, exhorting the congregation, co-convenor of the “Sümi Healing Festival”, Y. Kikheto Sema said the “healing festival” was organised because Naga society, particularly Sümi community, has been rife with conflicts among different sections of the society and within the church.

Er. Khetovi also exhorted the congregation; a special prayer was led by WSBAK executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi while Spring Voice, Nagagenous and others presented special numbers.

The Sunday evening service, which was the last service of the three-day “healing festival” was also attended by thousands from all walks of life.

Before the commencement of the service members of Chekiye Village Baptist Church led the prayer songs.

Special numbers were presented by SBA Padumpukuri, EDSBA Purana Bazar, Spring Voice and others.

Speaker of the evening service, Pastor Ed. Citronnelli delivered an impactful sermon.

According to the website run by Pastor Ed Citronnelli ministries, during the three-day “healing festival”the crusade ground was filled with people that had come to see Jesus, to be healed and delivered from sicknesses and powers of darkness.

It said after the preaching, as Pastor Citronnelli began to sing and worship, “evil spirits started to manifest among many that were being afflicted by them”. However, Jesus broke out to heal and deliver them and many received their healing.
