Toy graces NSSA plenary session 2019

The plenary session 2019 of the Nagaland Secretariat Service Association (NSSA) was held at the Secretariat Conference Hall here on Wednesday. 

The session was graced by chief secretary, Temjen Toy as special invitee.
According to DIPR, the chief secretary in his speech said that government jobs were in demand in the state but attending office has become a choice with excuses which has become the norm for government service.  
Therefore, he called upon the NSS staff to retrospect about the NPSC exam they have appeared and remember the promise they kept during the interview to serve the people. 
Recalling his initial days in office, Toy said he learned more official file works from the NSS officials. 
He called upon the NSS officials reminding them they were the backbone of the secretariat and take advantage of the non-transferable job to serve the people. 
NSSA president, Johnny Humtsoe in his presidential speech hoped that the NSS will continue to be a wellspring of hope for the Naga society. 
Meanwhile, NSSA has elected a new team for the tenure 2019-22 with Chubasangla Longkumer, dy. secretary as president, Y.P Along, under secretary as vice president, Vekhrope K. Lasuh, under secretary as vice president, Benito K. Swu, section officer as general secretary along with three other exeucitve members. 
The programme was chaired by vice president, NSSA, Ketoulhou Metha.
