The latest premium hatchback, new Toyota Glanza was launched on Saturday, at Okusa Automobiles Pvt Ltd, Dimapur. 

The new Toyota Glanza was unveiled by Vikheho Swu, MLA.

Toyota Glanza features modern stylish designs comprising of 2 slate 3D surround chrome front grille, front bumper design for improved front appearance, LED projector headlamps with DRL and welcome lams, eye catching door handles, rear combi lamps with line guide and dual done interiors to enhance the bold interior & 60:40 spilt seats. It includes new age technology including dual battery setup, 1.2 L VVT technology petrol engine, 5 speed MT and CVT transmission, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with android auto and apple car play and voice recognition.

When it comes to safety, it has anti lock backing system, electronic brake force distribution with brake assist function, dual airbags for driver and passenger, ISOFIX seatbelt, PT/FL seatbelt and reverse camera and TECT body (total effective control technology).   

Toyota Glanza will be available in five colours insta-blue, gaming grey, enticing silver, cafe white and sporting red. 

On the sideline of the launching programme, Vikhaho Swu thanked Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) India for attending to the needs of Indian customers. Swu was optimistic that India customers will like it and expressed hope that the joint venture will do well because Suzuki has the largest market share in India and Toyota has the technology making it a perfect combination. 

“Hopefully by the end of the year, They will be able to provide world class facilities. At present, they have two base but by the end of the year, they will be able to provide six base that include service base, paint and etc,” Swu informed. 

Swu also said that the service centre will be moved to Thilixu within this year in order to deliver various services according to customer’s requirements.
