Traffic rules for 6th session of 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly

In view of 6th session, 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) on August 13, traffic regulations has been enforced as part of security arrangement.

According to PRO, DEF Kohima, only vehicles with the following car passes will be allowed entry to the assembly secretariat; “X” (white letter with red background) for legislators, “Y” (green letter with white background) for AHoDs/HoDs, “assembly logo” for assembly staff, “LH” (white with blue background) for police personnel and PS/PA, “O” (black letter with yellow background) for IPR/media and other department and “on assembly duty” (red letter with blue background) for staff bus/pool & Dak vehicles; No vehicle will be allowed to park by the roadside from 6 a.m onwards during assembly sessions at the following routes; from BSNL telephone exchange till classic island; from Raj Bhavan till MS Classic Island; from Classic Island to Tinpati via Razhü point; Tinpati to Billy Graham road via Don Bosco Jn; from Tinpati to high school and from high school to new secretariat via New Sanouru Bridge. 
Meanwhile, one-way traffic via Sanouru for down vehicles going towards new secretariat and vehicles coming towards town areas from new secretariat are adviced to take Billy Graham road; Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply in Kohima town during assembly session, from 6 a.m. till the session is over; All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 6 a.m during assembly session; heavy vehicles will not be allowed to be parked along ‘D’ block road.
Further, while anticipating positive co-operation from the public, the police would tow defaulting vehicles and charges will be borne by vehicle owners.
