Trainers trg on biodiversity & conservation

A trainers training programme on “biodiversity and conservation of horticulture crops” commenced on December 3 at Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH) Medziphema, Nagaland. A press release by CIH Nagaland informed that the training officers from department of Horticulture and Food Processing, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh were imparting the training. In a brief inaugural programme, director, CIH, Dr. N K Patle welcomed all the officers from Madhya Pradesh and highlighted upon the programme and activities of CIH. Department of Horticulture & Food Processing, Madhya Pradesh, deputy director, Dr. Vijay Agrawal, shared his experiences and expressed his willingness to learn about the horticulture crops grown in the north east region. Altogether, 43 participants including the trainees of skill development and certificate course attended the inaugural programme.
