A one day training programme on “marketing strategies,” organised by STINER-TFC, Nagaland Centre in collaboration with Nagaland Organic Konnect (NOK), was held at the community hall, Molvom village, Dimapur. The resource person for the programme was Yutho Sangtam, administrative coordinator, Entrepreneurs Associate, Kohima. 

During the training, the importance of effective entrepreneurial ethics, scope of entrepreneurship in the region, art of selling and presenting one’s products, staying updated in the fast developing world, importance of mission statement, values and virtues of an entrepreneur, honesty & sincerity in dealing with customers & banks and the importance of being innovative were discussed. 

A practical session on accounting and book keeping was also conducted. 

All the sessions were followed up by interaction, discussion and group activities moderated by Dr. Sentirenla Changkiri, project assistant, STINER-TFC. 

A total number of 25 participants from Molvom and Bungsang village participated in the programme. The participants will also be attending in the upcoming Pineapple Fest, 2019.  

Prof. Akali Sema (PI), Andrew Lalthawmliana (PA), Chubasahi Aier (Mechanic) and six MTS from STINER-TFC, Nagaland Centre also took part in the programme.
