Government Employees Union Pungro Village (GEUPV) conducted its annual sanitation drive in and around the village on Saturday. Through social services like these, the union intends to foster an environment of cleanliness so that the vicinity is allowed to live in a healthy environment. During the sanitation drive, the members also contributed to developmental construction within the village by donating cash and services.

The union president and his colleagues thanked Nguti N.P. for generously donating a Bolero pick to carry boulders used to fill potholes.

The union officials also expressed gratitude to all the members who turned up for the annual social work which, it said, helped in the upliftment of the village and society in general.
