Tripura royal scion donates money to help 3-yr-old boy fight cancer

Celebrating Independence Day with a difference, Tripura royal scion, Pradyot Bikram Manikya today donated Rs 15,000 to help a 3-yr-old Somai Jamatia fight blood cancer, reports the Northeast Today.

Manikya has also called upon fellow citizens to support the boy’s uncle Shantanu Jamatia to raise funds for his 3-yr-old nephew who is suffering from Blood Cancer. Today I have donated Rs 15,000 from my personal side to help this boy fight Blood Cancer. I hope more people come forward and do their bit. This according to me should be the spirit of Independence Day,” said the royal scion.

Shantanu Jamatia wants to raise funds for his 3-year-old nephew, Somai Jamatia to recover from the disease as the donation can guide them to reach their fund goals.
