TrueNat machine installation & inauguration at Jalukie

TrueNat machine installation and inauguration programme was held at customary court, ADC office Jalukie with Leader of Opposition (LoP), T.R. Zeliang as the special guest on June 4, where the equipment had been purchased and donated to Peren District designated COVID Hospital, CHC Jalukie by T.R. Zeliang, while it’s cartridges were donated by ZOAN officials.

According to DIPR report, T.R. Zeliang congratulated the District Task Force Peren headed by DC Peren, Medical staff, JAC members, Police personnel and public Leaders for their immense contribution as well as working selflessly for the district in times of COVID pandemic. He also extended his gratitude to Molbio Company, Goa and also the Distributor Atlantis Healthcare for quick delivery of the machine as well as to the Zeliang Officer’s Association, Nagaland for reaching out to help with the consumable/test cartridges.

Zeliang also cautioned the people of Peren not to panic but take adequate precautionary measures as advised by the Health department. Since there is no cure yet, the important thing was to test and be able to segregate the positive ones from the negative, only then one can effectively fight against the virus, Zeliang added. He also stated that apart from the COVID tests, many other ailments can also be detected through the test but different cartridges has to be used. He also called upon the leaders irrespective of political parties and organisations to extend cooperation to the district administration in the fight against the pandemic.

DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier said that due to certain emerging situation in the district, the inaugural programme could not be conducted at CHC Jalukie. On behalf of Peren district administration, he thanked LoP for rendering his selfless support to the district administration. 

JAC convenor, Dr. Tumda Newme also expressed gratitude to T.R. Zeliang for his generosity in donating TrueNat machine to CHC Jalukie and his wisdom in responding to the urgent need of Peren district in particular.

The inaugural function was presided by officiating CMO Peren, Dr. Supongmenla Walling, while short speech on behalf of ZOAN Peren unit was delivered by district evaluation officer Peren, Erangnimbe Thou and vote of thanks was proposed by ADC Jalukie, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang.
