District planning and development board (DPDB) Tuensang held a meeting at at DC conference hall Tuensang on August 14, wherein Toshi Wungtung chairman DP&DB and advisor for IPR, Village Guards, Nagaland chaired the meeting. 

According to DIPR report, at the meeting LADP 2019-20 for the Tuensang district was approved as per constituency wise.  Speaking in the meeting, Toshi deliberated on the guideline of the LADP where he also mentioned the enhancement of the amount by 50 Lakhs per assembly constituencies as approved by the cabinet and state planning board under iconic project.
It was also deliberated that all the tribal Hohos will be allowed to nominate one member each to represent the DPDBs and only the nominee will be allowed to attend the meeting.
The members also discussed on the construction of helipad at Shamator and the concerned department also commented on the guidelines as per the department and was approved to forward to the government. Creation of NST office asst. station superintendent at Shamator was also discussed and approved to forward to the government for further procedures. 
Chairman was of the view that as per the NSF notification to hoist the Naga national flag to mark the Independence Day, Eastern Nagaland was not under NSF so directed the district administration and Police that it will not tolerate any offices or institutions hoisting the Naga national flag. 
The following agendas construction of drainage, calvert from fishery to station school bazaar (C) sector Tuensang, repairing/renovation of GPS A Govt Primary School Shiponger village, Reapiring/re-innovation of GPS A & C Primary School Kuthur village and upgradation of Govt Primary School A Shiponger village to Middle School were forwarded to department concerned for the technical clearance before the approval.
On the penetration of Yuva Drug (madness drugs) to the district as per recently published in the local dailies, the house resolved to constitute an action oriented body to assist the police department.
