TSU visits schools at Noklak

Thang Students’ Union (TSU), Noklak village during the second phase visited schools under Noklak village and town from August 1 to 5 and found out loopholes which needed urgent corrective measures. 

A press release from TSU president, Pusho. P and assistant general secretary, Shing. B stated that, TSU officials held a interaction session with students and teachers regarding various grievances and functioning of the respective schools.  
TSU pointed out some matters that needed to be redressed by the concerned department, wherein GHS Noklak village has been functioning without headmaster and assistant headmaster for almost a year. GMS Noklak had no Science teacher, while GPS Noklak village which introduced class-5 this academic session as per the direction of School Education department was found to be functioning with shortage of teaching staff, the release stated.
The release stated that infrastructures needed to be upgraded in all government schools. Further, the union said that Christian High School Noklak was found to be faring quite satisfactorily in academic discipline.
