Tseminyu Union (TU) Constitution Drafting Committee (CDC) convener, Rushvulo Kent, has clarified that the officer bearers of TU are usually elected by the public in a general body meeting.

In a press release the convener stated that the public, in a general meeting, constituted the TU CDC and subsequently after completing their entrusted responsibility a final sitting was called on March 30 by the committee.
The release stated that the March 30 meeting decided to hold a general public meeting on April 27 for approval of TU constitution and election of new office bearers.
TU CDC convener also condemned Yhunsenlo Kent for defying the April 27 general public meeting resolution and issuing a press release in the local dailies.
The release further claimed that all bona fide members of TU were present in the general public meeting as per the attendance of the meeting.
TU CDC convener also cautioned all members of the union that any individual, whoever tries to confuse the public, with self-interested motive and was malevolent for the unity of Tseminyu people would not be tolerated.
