Tuli College observes ‘World Wildlife Day’

Department of Environmental Studies, Tuli College, Tuli, Mokokchung observed, “World Wildlife Day” with a photography competition on the theme “Stop, Observe, Capture” on March 3.

A press release from Tuli College stated that, exhortation was given by HoD Environmental Studies, Arennaro, where she stressed on the importance of wildlife and the role it plays for maintaining equilibrium in the earth system. She also appreciated the students for actively taking part in the contest, which indeed was a sign that the student community understood the importance of conservation of wildlife.

Earlier, programme was chaired by Sosangbenla, BA 6th semester. Students were shown documentaries on conservation of wildlife during the event. Certificates and prizes were distributed to the winners.

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
