Thilixu Village Council (TVC), GBs, youth front organisations and STH of Thilixu village have condemned the raid by Indian Armed Forces (IAF) at a private residence under Thilixu village on June 26.

A press release from chairman, Nikhevi Yeptho and secretary, Dr. Khashepu Chishi stated that the “unwarranted raid during the pandemic” not only harassed the villagers but also destroyed the peaceful atmosphere under the village. The council suggested that during such pandemic, it was “better not to create any unwanted situation in village”.

Meanwhile, the council also stated that “instead if harassing the public, the government should be more concerned in solving the Naga political issue”.
