UBCD holds youth spiritual awakening camp

Union Baptist Church Dhansiripar (UBCD) youth department conducted a youth spiritual awakening camp on the theme “Divergent: going against the tide of contemporary culture” (Ephesians 5:15-20) from July 12 to 14 at the Millennium Hall, Daniel village. 

A press release from UBCD stated that, theme speaker, pastor Zanbemo Kithan encouraged the youths to make a firm commitment to the Lord to be changed and transformed from inside and make God their source of strength against all odds. 

He also spoke on the topic “God’s idea of Marriage”. Many youths surrendered their lives to God and pledged to live exemplary lives. Resource persons Dr. N Renthungo Jungi and Kahuli Swu spoke on the topics “Career Guidance” and “Peace Building and Conflict Transformation” respectively. 

The camp culminated with a special service and ended with prayers of blessings and dedication by pastor Chenirao Jungi, UBC Dhansiripar. Pastoral staff and the deacons all took active part in bringing the youth. Vikato Swu, youth director was  the camp director.
