United FC, Khriekesa FC,  Naga Terriers and ZRSU FC win

United FC, Khriekesa FC Meriema, Naga Terriers FC and Zunheboto Range Student Union FC registered wins at the ongoing Capt. (Late). N. Kenguruse Memorial Football tournament on Tuesday. The tournament is being organized by 9th Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (N).

In the first match at Kohima local ground, United FC defeated Fountain Lad FC by 3-1. Kozo opened the scoring for United FC in the 7th minute. However, Lunso found the equaliser for Fountain Lad FC in the 15th minute. Kozo and Sieketou scored the second and third goals for United FC in the 55th and 60th minute respectively.

In the second match, Khriekesa FC Meriema defeated One-Ten FC by 4-1. Thopi scored the first goal for Kriekesa FC in the 38th minute. Nzanhut scored the second goal in the 69th minute and Thopi scored the third and fourth goals in the 72nd and 75th minutes to seal the match 4-1. The lone goal for One-Ten FC was scored by Kwang in the 65th minute.

At Tsiesema Basa ground, Naga Terriers thrashed Tizit Tornado by 5-0. Chingsha Phom scored a hat-trick while T Khampei and Medo Angami scored a goal.

In the second match, Zunheboto Range Student Union (ZRSU) beat Victorious FC 3-2. Kuveto Keyho of Victorious FC scored the first goal in 9th minute. However, Rito Zhimo found the equaliser for ZRSU in the 33rd minute. 

After the lemon break, Kukhruba Keyho scored the second goal for Victorious FC. For ZRSU, Tovito Shohe and Moka Yeptho scored one goal each to seal the match 3-2.
