While several reminders had been issued by NSSATA and NSF & ENSF to stick to the government decision, the USSC stated that even after the lapse of more than two years the Nagaland government was yet to keep its word.

USSC expressed serious concern for the sacrifices and hardships of the teachers and urged the government not to delay, but to meet the various stakeholders plea and bring SSA and RMSA teacher into a School Education cadre.

USSC also conveyed that it will always support NSF & ENSF ultimatum for the genuine cause of the teachers and to extend any possible help when needed.

PSC: Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) in a press release by president A. Mane Phom and assistant general secretary, Amos Phom stated its strong support to the SSA & RMSA teachers  and asked the state government and department concerned not to desert the matter any further and justice be delivered to the teachers at the earliest. It also cautioned that failure to fulfil the genuine demand of the teachers may reciprocate a huge resentment from the students’ community at large.
