Vacation Bible School and camps held for children

Vacation Bible School for children was organised by Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church (ZTSBC), Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS), Dimapur with Town Baptist Church (TBC) respectively.   

LKA: Tiny tots of Little Kingdom Academy (LKA) at its annual summer camp held on July 5 and 6 for children between ages 2 to 4 years and focuses on learning through play. The camp is aimed at creating exciting atmosphere, where children can come have fun, play, make new friends, create and learn new skills.

ZTSBC: Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church (ZTSBC) conducted two-day Vocational Bible Studies (VBS) under the theme, “Roar” from July 2 to 4. 

A press release from ZTSBC media supervisor, Bombo K Yeptho stated that, VBS was conducted by the Sunday School department under the leadership of Tovini Achumi Sunday school supervisor and Sunday School teachers.  

During the Bible studies, various activities such as Biblical drama, songs, Bible stories, games and various other activities to encourage children to make their bodies stronger with God. 

Programme concluded on July 4 with encouraging words and thanks giving from the church leaders and Sunday School teachers. Rev Dr Daniel Chishi on behalf of all the church staff thanked the stewards, teachers, students and others for their cooperation in making the VBS a success. 

CHSS & TBC: Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS), Dimapur and Town Baptist Church (TBC) jointly organised the 26th Summer Bible School at the Covenant Hall CHSS campus which concluded on July 6. 

A press release from CHSS Dimapur stated that, altogether 690 students from 66 churches, 25 schools and other faiths participated in the 4-day Bible camp, under the theme, “Worship the Almighty God Alone.” The guest speakers were Vezachilü Sakhrie of TBC, Robert Lkr, director,  Kids Worship Center, Kumar Pillai, director Goshen Gospel Ministry India and Dr. Kethoser Kevichüsa, speaker and trainer at Ravi Zacharias International Ministries.
