Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services (AH & VS) has felicitated deputy director Dr. Zasekhuolie Chüsi, on his induction as Indian Administrative Services (IAS) at the felicitation programme held at the directorate conference hall here on Tuesday.

Dr. Chüsi in his address expressed gratitude to the Almighty God and to the department for organizing the programme in his honour. 

He recalled his 25 years service, serving in different departments, manning different national flagship programmes, schemes including legal matters. 

He further said that challenges and obstacles in life which he faced with positive approach made him what he is today and credited his senior officers and colleagues for the unflinching and unwavering supports in his life.

President Nagaland veterinarians association Dr. Ilang in his address congratulated Dr. Zasekuolie Chüsi and said that he (Dr. Chüsi) achieved his goal due to strong zeal. He also highlighted how confederation of All Nagaland state service employees’ association (CANSSEA) fought to get their due share and rights.

Additional director and HoD Dr. Temsumeren also addressed the gathering. The programme was chaired by Addl. Director Dr. Budhi Lama.

It may be noted that the government of India, ministry of personnel, public grievances & pensions (department of personnel & training) appointed Dr. Zasekuolie Chüsi, member of the non-state civil services to IAS for the select list 2017 w.e.f. May 3, 2019. 

The officer on probation has been allocated IAS cadre of Nagaland under Rule 5 (1) of the Indian administrative service (cadre) rules 1954. Nagaland chief secretary Tali Temjen Toy has informed through a notification that the officers’ year of allotment/seniority would be communicated subsequently.
