VVN receives stationeries and learning aids

Vidya Vistar Nagaland (VVN), a literacy program of the KAL Group, a Dimapur based law firm, in collaboration with Sophia Foundation, is conducting evening classes thrice a week for students aged between 4 and 14 years.
A press release from VVN program supervisor, Thejavino Pienyu stated that VVN received a generous donation of stationery and learning aids from 32 Assam Rifles, Firing Range, Dimapur on July 5. The literacy program is conducted with children from under privileged backgrounds, with the first initiative being taken at Valley View Colony, Dimapur. Evening classes are conducted by volunteers of Vidya Vistar and classes are presently attended by about 41 students.
