Wangching, Tamlu village pledge to uphold peace

A prayer and fasting programme of Wangching and Tamlu villages was held at Wangching  village from January 10 to 12, to uphold peaceful coexistence between the two villages. A press release from Angh, Wangching village, A Keamang, stated that executive secretary, Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum, Rev. Chemyuh, Pastor, Konyak Baptist Church Dimapur, Rev. M Tonglong, Rev. S Takyong and pastor, Mission Centre Mon, Rev. T Honlong, were the main speakers during the programme. Angh of Wangching, A Keamang and Angh of Tamlu, Lungwang, and other leaders spoke and exhorted the gathering, urging the villagers of both villages for harmonious and peaceful co existence. Further, both villages pledged to uphold the unique relationship between the two as was propagated and practiced by forefathers in the true spirit of forgiveness.
