WBC holds 15th graduation exercise

Withee Bible College (WBC) held its 15th graduation exercise at Kim Jin Won chapel hall, WBC on April 17.

A press release from WBC media cell stated that the graduation address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Hokheto Chophi, pastor, Kohima Sumi Baptist Church. The speaker encouraged the graduates to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, be like Jesus and to fish for men, not money.

Fifteen students were conferred Bachelors in Theology degrees, six students conferred Masters of Divinity degrees and three students received certificates in basic Music. The college also presented awards to deserving students.

The Academic Resilience Award was bagged by Khumjila K, of B. Th and Pikatoli L. Zhimo, of M. Div. The best Discipline Award was bagged by Rabemo Ovung. The Best Preaching Award was bagged by Mughaka Sumi of B.Th and Pikatoli L. Zhimo of M.Div. The best Chapel Attendance Award was bagged by Rabemo Ovung, Khumjila L, Y. Chaiying Konyak, Monglong Konyak, and Jepitoli Sumi. The best Devotion Attendance Award was bagged by Rabemo Ovung, Khumjila L, Y. Chaiying Konyak, and Jepitoli Sumi.

The commissioning prayer was offered by Rev. Dr. Vikheshe Chishi, founder, and principal in the service led by Yekatoli Chishi, lecturer. The benediction was pronounced by Rev. Dr. Hukashe Zhimomi, executive secretary, Nagaland Police Church Association, president NBCC and board chairman Withee Bible College.
