WDLSA legal literacy classes commence

Wokha District Legal Services Authority (WDLSA) launched its month long legal literacy classes on July 4 at JNV, Chukitong, Wokha. 

A press release from WDLSA stated that district & sessions judge /chairperson WDLSA, Nino Iralu was the guest person for the launching programme. 
She highlighted on Consumer Act, Nagaland Victim Compensation Act, Motor Vehicle Act, Consumer Act, Public Utility Services, and Constitutional Rights and Responsibilities. Altogether 92 Students along with teachers, panel lawyers and para legal volunteers participated in the launching programme. 
Earlier, Wokha District Legal Services Authority (WDLSA) also conducted a conclave for rural women of Pongidong village, Wokha on June 25 on legal rights & privileges and welfare schemes. 
A press release from WDLSA, public relations assistant stated that Renbonthung Tsanglao, Panel Lawyer spoke on NALSA (Effective implementation of poverty alleviation) Schemes 2015 and highlighted on various welfare schemes of state and central government available to women.
