Wokha District GB Federation (WDGBF) under Nagaland GBs Federation (NGBF) observed peace rally at district head quarter on March 9.

A press release from WDGBF stated that, speaking on the occasion, Lotha Hoho chairman Mhondamo Ovung called on the GBs to perform their duties as being the elders of the village to guide and lead the younger Naga generation forward.

He also spoke on Naga political issue which gained momentum from Lotha soil starting from Wokha, Sanis and Lakhuti agreements during the earlier stage, where he reminded the gathering not to give up but to strengthen and be united for an earlier solution.

Further, he encouraged the people to speak truth in volume and added that Nagas should have the courage to speak the truth, when given the right platform to speak for the welfare and interest of Naga society.

He also conveyed support towards the federation and encouraged all organisations to be united and work for better tomorrow, towards an earlier Indo-Naga political talk for one concrete solution.

Meanwhile, Lotha Eloe Hoho, Lotha Students’ Union and Chamber of Commerce and Industries Wokha spoke for unity and an acceptable peaceful solution at the earliest. P. N Tungoe, president WDGBF presented the memorandum to the gathering where later it was submitted to the deputy commissioner Wokha.
