WHG website inaugurated at Mon

World Health Group (WHG) website, was launched on May 22 at NIC video conference room, office of deputy commissioner, Mon, where representatives from KU/KNSK/KSU/KBBB/IRCS/World Vision/Nagaland NGO’s Forum, attended the programme.

According to DIPR report, the online platform was launched by DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, while founder, WHG, Nimith Agrawal, delivered a briefing to audience about the online platform (, entirely dedicated together to needs of individuals and families whose livelihoods were affected by COVID-19 pandemic with essential requirements, such as food, rations and basic medicines. DIPR reported that the ‘111’ app known as “Ek Aur Ek Gyarah” can be easily downloaded from Google Play Store, which was another mode to seek help through the platform.
In a first of its kind in Nagaland, Mon district administration tied out with World Help Group Foundation to ensure that poorest and hardest to reach communities will get help and assistance that they required.
The online platform had also been designed to enable local authorities/NGOs/civil societies to disseminate information and provide assistance in prompt manner. Mon district administration has also set up a call centre at office of DC for implementing initiative, under the Helpline Number, 9862793629/9612014688, for queries and assistance.
