 Joining the rest of the world, the state capital also observed ‘World Music Day’ marking the 4th edition at The Heritage, Old DC Bungalow, Raj Bhavan on Friday evening. The event is being initiated by Symphony Academy of Music and Musicians Guild to promote local musicians in the state.

Hundreds of music fans from around Kohima came to witness the musical event as 12 artist and band took the stage. Hornbill National Rock Contest 2009 winner, Lui Tzudir made an emotional comeback to performed on the stage.

During the event, various bands such as Lord of Rocks, Divine Connection, Purple Fusion, Papersky,UDX, Seyievinuo Chüzo, Verie, Lui Tzudir, Joshua Shohe feat Zubeni Kikon, Annie’s OK and The Paradigm Shift performed during the occasion. Second runners-up of the Hornbill International Rock Contest 2018 Ambush band from Assam (Diphu) was the highlight of the show.
